The campground turnoff is located on the Alaska Highway at Mile 265, 27.6 kilometres south of Fort Nelson, then another 12 kilometres on a maintained gravel road.
The campground is open May to September, with 12 unserviced campsites (may not be suitable for large RVs over thirty feet). There is a boat launch for non-motorized water craft and various amenities for day use.
Price per night is $17 including tax, with reservations available online and by contacting the Northern Rockies Regional Recreation Centre at 250.774.2541 option 1.
