Trail head begins directly across from the Summit Lake Campground. The trail begins in open spruce and enters into the alpine, following rock cairns up Mt. St. Paul. The first viewpoint provides sights of Flowering Springs across the highway and a complete view of Summit Lake. Camouflaged ptarmigan and stone sheep frequent the area. The peak provides a panoramic view and look at the Dunedin Valley behind the mountain.

Length: 6.7 km roundtrip to upper viewpoint, 12.5 km roundtrip to peak
